Mountain View Village (MVV) serves households with income less than 50% of AMI and is the first development to combine sustainable transportation improvements, affordability, and zero net energy. MVV features 40 two-bedroom apartment homes with vinyl plank wood flooring, refrigerator, dishwasher, stove, and microwave. MVV is an energy efficient “green” development meeting Zero net energy and Green Point Rated standards. On-site services include: pool vans for essential transportation services, and Bike Bakersfield to provide bike education and services to encourage bike riding to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and help improve air quality. Residents also enjoy secured bicycle storage lockers, a laundry facility, clubhouse, on-site manager, picnic area, and playground.
